House Rules
Compliance with the house rules of the holiday rental property is mandatory under the terms of the holiday rental agreement. Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties, including deductions from the security deposit.
General Conditions
All guests (and all visitors) must comply with these house rules, as well as with any other instructions provided by the property manager, Mr Charles-Henri Moëc, throughout their stay.
Guests must inform the property manager of any incident or complaint from the neighbourhood as soon as possible.
Noise and Neighbours
This holiday rental property is suitable for children. Guests are fully and at all times responsible for the safety of their children and for any disturbance they may cause to the neighbourhood.
Guests and visitors must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb residents of neighbouring properties, particularly during quiet hours (10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).
Noise disturbances are prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the rental agreement, eviction, loss of any fees already paid, and deductions from the security deposit.
Guests and their visitors must not engage in any antisocial behaviour. They are expected to minimise their impact on the immediate neighbourhood and local residents.
Visitors
Guests may invite visitors during their stay, subject to the prior approval of the property manager.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that the maximum permitted number of visitors is not exceeded and that all visitors comply with these house rules.
Guests wishing to invite visitors to stay overnight at the holiday rental property must inform the property manager at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply, as specified in the applicable rates.
Parties and Events
It is strictly prohibited to organise parties or any other large gatherings at the holiday rental property without the prior authorisation of the property manager.
Any small gathering must comply with all other rules set out in these house rules, particularly those relating to noise, neighbours and the permitted number of visitors.
Parking
Guests and visitors must comply with all applicable parking regulations.
Parking within the property must be limited to the designated parking spaces.
Waste and Recycling
Guests and visitors are required to dispose of rubbish and recyclable waste in the appropriate bins and in accordance with the procedures in force at the holiday rental property, as detailed below.
Waste must under no circumstances be left in public areas or common areas.
Household waste and recyclable materials must be placed in the bins provided:
Yellow: paper, plastic and metal
Green: glass
Blue: general waste
Grey: food waste
Safety and Security
Whenever guests leave the holiday rental property, they must ensure that all windows and doors are closed and/or locked in order to maintain the security of the property and prevent potential damage caused by rain.
Guests must turn off lights, air conditioning, fans and electronic devices such as televisions when they are not in use in order to save energy.
Air conditioning must not be left running while guests are away from the holiday rental property.
Swimming Pool
The covered and heated swimming pool (provided the outdoor temperature is above 8°C) is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
For safety reasons, the use of glassware is strictly prohibited in or around the swimming pool.
The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the pool area.
Failure to comply with this rule will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
Balcony and Terrace
Guests must supervise babies and children at all times when using the balcony or terrace.
Smoking
Guests are permitted to smoke outside the holiday rental property only.
Guests must dispose of cigarette butts properly, for example in the ashtrays provided, and must under no circumstances throw cigarette butts onto the property grounds.
Failure to comply with this rule will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
Pets
Pets are permitted at the holiday rental property.
Barbecue
A gas barbecue is provided for guests in the accommodation.
Breakages and Damage
Any broken item or damage caused to the property must be reported to the property manager as soon as possible.
Failure to report any breakage or damage may result in a deduction from the security deposit.
To prevent breakages and damage, furniture must not be moved from one room to another without prior approval.
Please also note that bath towels must not be taken outside the property, for example to the beach.
Departure
The following rules apply upon departure, including the return of keys, security, cleaning, waste disposal, etc.
An inspection of the property will be carried out upon departure.
